Free COVID-19 Tests Available Nationwide

You can order 4 free rapid tests per household from the federal government here. The tests, including shipping, are completely free. 

• If your testing kit has been outside at or below 36°F (2.22°C) for 120 hours or kept at -4°F (-20°C) for any period of time, your tests WILL NOT WORK. Contact the helpline at 1-800-275-8777 (USPS) for replacement tests
• There have been problems with people in multi-unit buildings not being able to order them. 
  • Some people report that it worked when they included their unit number in the first line of the address instead of the second line
  • Some others reported success after including “Apt” instead of just their unit number 
  • Others reported that it worked when they entered their unit information in the second line with no spaces
  • Play around with how you enter your address, see if anything like the suggestions above work

• There is no cost to the patient if they meet one of the following criteria:
  • Are experiencing mild symptoms
  • Have been exposed to someone with COVID-19
  • Live or work in a congregate setting
  • Have been asked to get tested by a healthcare professional, contact investigator, or public health department.
• Labcorp will bill your insurance if you have insurance.
  • If you don't have insurance, the test is free.
    • People without insurance are required to have a government ID 
• You will know before you order if you qualified for a free/no copay test
